James Hobson and Florence Corvez Curtis.
James’ background is in video editing for broadcast television and he has a track record of factual and science programming for UK and international broadcasters. He has illustrated passionate essays from Richard Dawkins and Stephen Hawking, delivered action packed explosion-fests for Discovery, and even spent three months embedded in the gardens of Blenheim Palace.
James has also spent time engaging with non-film makers, creating community video and installation films, and relishes helping people to tell their own stories and achieve their ambitions.
He has a keen sense of editorial balance, visual creativity and a drive to achieve excellence in all his finished work.
James diverse experience of video production helps to turn clients’ bright ideas into polished finished films.
Florence’s career started in factual broadcasting. She worked at MTV Europe and for indies such as Uden Associates (Channel 4) and Rooftop Productions (FiveTV).
Florence focused on producing and directing documentary films for international NGOs such as Christian Aid, Oxfam and Television Trust for the Environment drawing on her international upbringing and language skills – French & Spanish. Her work took her as far afield as Cambodia, Burkina Faso and Brazil.
She worked as a producer/ director on ‘Rooted’, a Children’s BAFTA nominated series for FiveTV and successfully managed an EU funded multi-media project on development issues.
Florence’s meticulous approach to writing, directing and planning ensures successful productions.
